The Sofa Kings are the next generation of psychedelic jam music. Taking inspiration from classic Funk and Jazz as well as modern improvisational and jam bands, we weave deceptively fluid bass lines with funky and hypnotic drum beats into atmospheric keys and guitar lines that bubble and simmer with rhythm and melody, until they erupt into a soaring celebration of music! The Sofa Kings are guaranteed to move your body and mind to a new level of Funky Freedom!

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time to get back into things for the spring! After a long winter housed in the studio, we hope to see you at Maxwell's Music House on King Street this Friday at 9pm for their annual 4:20 show!
That's right - April 20th, at Maxwell's Music House is the place to get funky!

We Are Recording! - November 21st
Hey there funky men and funky women! We have some new news to warm up these upcoming fall and winter months! After some renovations and some vacations we have once again soundproofed our jam studio at the Breithaupt Halls, and new recording equipment is now flying into the room! New microphones and new recording interfaces mean for the arrival of new songs not too far in the future, so stay tuned!
We’ll keep you posted on new shows as they come along. If you make it you may hear some previews of what is to come!
